User Terms & Conditions

Applicable to: Patients and consumers booking diagnostic tests through BookMyPatho.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the BookMyPatho website, mobile platform, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing the Platform, registering an account, or placing a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

1. Who May Use BookMyPatho

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and place a booking. Bookings for minors may be placed by a parent or legal guardian.
• You must provide accurate personal information during registration and booking.
• One account per individual. Creating multiple accounts to abuse pricing or offers is prohibited.
• You must not use the Platform for any purpose other than legitimate diagnostic test booking for yourself or persons for whom you are legally authorised to act.

2. Booking Process

• Select the test or package you require. Review the test description, price, and applicable terms before confirming.
• Provide accurate patient details — name, age, gender, and contact information. Incorrect patient details may affect report validity.
• Complete payment through the secure payment gateway. Your booking is confirmed only upon successful payment.
• You will receive a booking confirmation via SMS and/or email with a booking reference number.
• A phlebotomist will be assigned for home sample collection. Assignment typically occurs within 1–2 hours of booking confirmation.
• Sample collection is scheduled within 3–4 hours of booking. Report delivery is targeted within 4–6 hours of sample pickup, subject to test type and laboratory processing time.

3. Pricing & Payments

• All prices displayed on the Platform are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
• Prices are determined by the test type and are subject to change without prior notice. The price at the time of confirmed booking will apply.
• Payments are accepted through the integrated payment gateway (UPI, debit/credit card, net banking). BookMyPatho does not store card or payment credentials.
• Discounts, if any, are applied at checkout and cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
• All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR).

4. Reports & Results

• Diagnostic reports are generated by LDPL (Labcorp Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd.), a NABL-accredited laboratory, and will carry BookMyPatho and LDPL co-branding.
• Reports will be shared digitally through your registered account and via the channel (WhatsApp / email / dashboard) specified at the time of booking.
• BookMyPatho is a booking and delivery platform and does not independently interpret, validate, or take clinical responsibility for diagnostic results.
• Reports should be reviewed with a qualified medical professional. Health Tracker tips and information provided on the Platform are informational only and do not constitute medical advice.
• In the event of a report discrepancy or quality concern, BookMyPatho will raise the matter with LDPL on your behalf.

5. Health Tracker & Pregnancy Tracker

• The Health Tracker and Pregnancy Tracker features are provided for informational and wellness purposes only.
• Content generated by these features — including parameter-specific tips, home remedies, and weekly pregnancy guidance — is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
• Always consult a qualified doctor before acting on any health information provided on the Platform.
• BookMyPatho shall not be liable for any health decisions made based on content from the Health Tracker or Pregnancy Tracker.

6. User Obligations

• Ensure you or the patient is present and ready for sample collection at the agreed time. Repeated no-shows may result in account restrictions.
• Provide accurate health history or preparation instructions required for specific tests (e.g., fasting requirements). BookMyPatho and LDPL will not be liable for invalid results due to patient non-compliance with pre-test instructions.
• Do not misuse, share, or publish diagnostic reports in a manner that violates the privacy of the patient.
• Do not use the Platform to submit false, misleading, or fraudulent bookings.

7. Limitation of Liability

• BookMyPatho is a technology platform facilitating diagnostic test bookings. We are not a diagnostic laboratory and do not conduct tests.
• BookMyPatho's liability for any claim arising from use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the booking that gave rise to the claim.
• BookMyPatho shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including loss of data, health decisions made on the basis of reports, or delays caused by factors outside our control (weather, lab capacity, technical failures).

8. Miscellaneous

• Intellectual Property: All content on the Platform is the intellectual property of BookMyPatho or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any Platform content without prior written permission.
• Account Termination: BookMyPatho reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the Platform in a manner that harms other users or the platform.
• Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Delhi, India. For consumer grievances, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 shall apply.
• Grievance Officer: If you have any complaints or concerns regarding the Platform or your booking, please contact our Grievance Officer.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Applicable to all diagnostic test bookings made through BookMyPatho.

5.1 & 5.2 How to Cancel

• Log in to your BookMyPatho account and navigate to My Bookings.
• Select the booking you wish to cancel and click Cancel Booking.
• Cancellation is only permitted if the booking status shows Pending / Awaiting Agent Assignment.
• Once the status changes to Agent Assigned, the Cancel option will be disabled.
• Alternatively, contact us at support@bookmypatho.in or call our support number (+91 8700227153) with your booking reference ID.

5.3 Refund Processing

• Approved refunds (pre-agent-assignment cancellations) will be processed within 5–7 business days.
• Refunds are credited to the original payment method — UPI, debit card, credit card, or net banking account used at the time of booking.
• BookMyPatho does not issue cash refunds.
• Payment gateway processing fees, if any deducted at source, may not be included in the refund amount.

5.4 Cancellation by BookMyPatho

• In rare circumstances, BookMyPatho or LDPL may need to cancel a booking due to: Phlebotomist unavailability in the customer's area, Technical or operational issues at the laboratory, or Force majeure events (extreme weather, public emergencies, government orders).
• In such cases, BookMyPatho will notify the customer as soon as possible and offer either a full refund or a rescheduled booking at no additional charge. The choice rests with the customer.

5.5 No-Show Policy

• If the phlebotomist arrives at the registered address and the patient is unavailable for sample collection without prior cancellation, the booking will be marked as a No-Show.
• No-Show bookings are not eligible for a refund.
• Repeated No-Shows may result in account restrictions.

5.6 Rescheduling & Disputes

• Rescheduling is available before agent assignment at no additional charge.
• Rescheduling after agent assignment is subject to availability and may attract a rescheduling fee, communicated at the time of request.
• To reschedule, contact support@bookmypatho.in with your booking reference ID and preferred new time slot.
• If you believe a refund has been incorrectly declined, please email grievance@bookmypatho.in with your booking ID and a description of your concern. We will review and respond within 5 business days.
